Great show!
Generally, I love 2000 shows and this is no exception. A perfect mix of new songs (you can feel kind of enthusiasm in playing Figure 8 songs) and his great old stuff. He seems to enjoy the situation, too.
Great sound, Elliott's voice is clear and his playing is straight. Definitely a must-have.
The intro to LA is thrilling.

Great recording, great show, great performance...
Very good sound quality. Mic pre's are not overdriven, as is so often the case w/ live acoustic recordings (too loud or not loud enuff, etc). Worth putting on yer Ipod, by all means, go for it...

magic.
I was at this show, and my friend and I couldn't believe how good the sound was. The recording does it justice, which is amazing.
A good mix of older songs -- great version of "Southern Belle" -- and acoustic takes on some of the Figure 8 songs. This show is beautiful.

great show, loud crowd
I agree with the other reviewers, this is Elliott at the peak of his talents. His guitar playing and his voice both never sounded better, and he sounded like he was really enjoying himself. But... I have to take off one star because of the loud crowd noise, some guy talked right through several songs. I wanted to slap him.

I'm not the biggest ES fan, I downloaded this for my girlfriend, but both the performance quality and sound quality are top-notch. If you're looking for one of his shows, get this one.

great solo acoustic show
This is an Elliot Smith masterpiece, an acoustic show that exemplifies his incredible voice and some of his best songs. Not the best audio I've ever heard, but this show literally gave me chills. Thank you for making my life better by posting this concert.
